Sunset View Cottage
2 bedrooms - sleeps 4. Easy access for wheelchair user.
This cottage was originally built on to the farmhouse as accommodation for a lady who was confined to a wheelchair. It has recently been converted to a relaxing, comfortable, bright and cheerful, well-equipped single storey holiday home.
The sitting room, with 'living flame' stove, tv/dvd player and radio/cassette/cd player, dining area and kitchen with all mod cons including family size electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and fridge-freezer, are open plan and enjoy tremendous views across the Teifi Valley and beyond from the patio doors (westerly facing you will see some amazing sunsets) without moving from your chair, with easy ramp for wheelchair user, or steps down to its own secluded garden with barbeque and garden furniture.
There are two bedrooms - the bedheads and bedside units have been hand made from wood from our own trees that were the victims of a storm some years ago. One with double bed, wardrobe with shelving and dressing table; the other with two single 2'6" beds and wardrobe with shelving.
The bathroom includes toilet, hand basin and bath with electric shower over and a swivel bath seat is available for a wheelchair user, on request.
All bed linen and towels are supplied free of charge. There is a cot and a highchair is available on request.
The cottage is carpeted throughout and is centrally heated; each radiator has its own thermostatic control as well as the cottage thermostat. The oil usage is registered by meter and charged at cost, as is the electricity.
